Василь — командир штурмового відділення. Штурмове відділення то такий підрозділ, що нищить ворога у безпосередньому контакті. А 3 ОШБ у цьому завданні, як ви знаєте, найкраща. Як підрозділ Альдо Апачі, тільки не в кіно, а на українській землі.

Підрозділу Василя для ефективного виконання завдань потрібна автівка — ну ви й самі знаєте, скільки вже купили нашим захисникам автівок (і скільки ще купимо).

For my friends who don’t know Ukrainian — and are too lazy to use Google Translate — here is, very briefly, what I want to say.

Many of you, upon meeting me, ask how you can help Ukraine and its people. I often say that donations are a great start. So here, I offer (and, if I’m being honest, humbly ask for) a great chance to help.

My colleague Vasyl (he’s the one in the photo) has joined the 3rd Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The 3rd Assault Brigade is one of the most elite units in the AFU — some would say it is THE brigade in the AFU. The way they train, the way they fight, their level of motivation — all of it is incredible.

Vasyl is a squad leader in an assault infantry unit within the brigade. This basically means that they fight the enemy at a very close distance, basically in full contact. Those crazy videos of the Ukrainian fighters storming russian positions or repelling attacks up close — that is Vasyl and his brothers-in-arms.

Right now, they are in dire need of a pickup truck (or an SUV). You should be able to donate from wherever you are. But if, for some reason, you can’t — email me. We’ll find a way.
